Mala 📿 Making Workshop with Our Elders
Over two beautiful days, we had the honour of spending time with a group of cherished elders during our Mala Making Workshop, where we created 27 malas together—each one a symbol of love, memory, and shared presence.
This wasn’t just about beads and thread. It was about creating a space where stories were shared, laughter was exchanged, and hearts found companionship. As hands moved with care and intention, so did conversations—bridging generations and building bonds that reminded us of the deep beauty in slowing down and connecting. 💛
We are incredibly grateful to the Sikh community of Singapore for giving us this meaningful opportunity to engage with our elders in such an intentional and loving way.
Watching the smiles, hearing the quiet joy, and witnessing the pride as each mala was completed was nothing short of magical. We are so thankful to have been a part of this journey.
Each mala now carries not just mantras or memories—but the spirit of community, healing, and togetherness.
Thank you, again, to everyone who participated and supported this initiative. May these malas continue to be sources of peace and purpose for each soul who touched them.
With gratitude and reverence,
Team ALEMENZ
